The most beautiful month of the year is already here with lots of novelties, do not forget to leave Jon a message for his birthday on 19th! There is a new cover and editorial for Spanish magazine Marie Claire with exquisite model friend Cristina Tossio in Fuerteventura. - Photos-->EDITS-->   In that same section you will find a nice photo for Italian mag Slurp shot in Milan. All his latest works and campaigns have placed Jon directly in number 4 position of models.com prestigious ranking, being the only Spanish model in the list right now. Last October Jon travelled to Morocco to shoot cover and editorial for Swedish magazine DVMan. The idea was to impersonate an Arabian sheik and this is the result. - Photos-->EDITS-->   We have also added two pictures of genius Xevi Muntané for editorial section. You can already see part of Tom Ford S/S09 campaign and campaign and catalogue for Spanish firm Desigual. - Photos-->ADS-->   In video section you can also find Desigual making of.  Prestigious male fashion magazine Vman wanted to pay hommage to spring requesting several well-known photographers to shoot editorials with their favourite models around the world. Added the sensual pictures of the new GUESS ACCESORIES S/S 09 campaign. This brand cannot make it without Jon, alone or with female model. - Photos-->ADS-->   Even if he was working in exclusive for Tom Ford in Milan, Jon still had some free time to walk for some other designers in Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 09/10 held last weekend. He was chosen by Dolce & Gabbana once again, opened the show for Emporio Armani and Carlo Pignatelli and walked for Roberto Cavalli for the first time. Even if we are in the midst of December, we already have a pre-view of one of the next campaigns for the following season, spring/summer 09. Spanish magazine Telva and American V have both published in their latest issues two questionaires that we now resume PRIVATELY in MORE section. At last, sister mag Vman has released a glamourous editorial which won´t leave anybody indifferent. The three Spanish stars, Jon, Andrés and Oriol, cladded in feathers, leather, high-heels and make-up, were summoned by Karl Lagerfeld to show the world that our boys´masculinity and complicity doesn´t know of frontiers or sequins. - Photos-->EDITS-->   You can see all pictures from Guess by Marciano new campaign in CATALOGUE section. Even though all previews of new campaigns tell us about next Autumn, we are still in the summer month par excellance, just do not forget to visit our calendar.  First of big campaigns can be found in video section. Jon is the image of Garnier´s new hairspray ENDURANCE.  Guess by Marciano surprises with a much more sobrious look for the preview of his new campaign.  Completely different from the magnificient work for JEAN PAUL GAULTIER JEANS. Black leather, Harley D and khol define the new campaign of our favourite irreverent Frenchman.  And you can already find the first images for TOM FORD MENSWEAR 08/09 in international magazines. Come back to us to see the rest of the campaign. We can offer you a preview of two of the new campaigns for the new season fall/winter 08/09: Carlo Pignatelli Outside and John Richmond. And this is only the beginning.   - Photos-->ADS--> We have updated polaroids section with a new collection shot in Milan:   While in Milan working for Tom Ford, Jon attended the exclusive party the Texan designer offered to celebrate the opening of his new boutique. There Jon met his great friend Lapo Elkann.   - Photos-->MISC--> But do not leave this section because you must see the photos of Pasarela Gran Canaria presention, together with Ariadne Artiles and Miranda Kerr. A frenetic June has just started and already lots of news to keep you informed.  State-in-the-art Spanish magazine Metal has published an edit where prestigious Catalonian photographer, Xevi Muntané plays with masks, khol, leather and decandent aesthetics. Evocative and shocking images for the most irreverent version of Jon´s.   Last Tuesday Jon attended the only concert in Spain of pop diva, Kyle Minogue. You can see photocall pictures in miscellaneous and his brief conversation with Pilar Rubio in videos. 6/01/2008 11:26:00 AM Jon wanted to share with you all these three videos from latest Guess campaign still not seen over here. Sunshine, light and raw beauty escaping from the three protagonists. Unable to imagine a different face as the image of the firm, Jon has taken place in the fourth campaign which will be launched at the end of summer. And do not leave that section because last Wednesday 21st, May, Spanish magazine Glamour awarded him with the prize for "the most beautiful male face of the year" .You can see part of the ceremony here and some photos in miscellaneous.  Photographer Nico and Jon have collaborated again to create an editorial for British magazine Wound, with such a spectacular result that we have forgotten how to breathe for two weeks or so.   Fotos --> EDITORIAL We have added a new feature in STATS section with a link in Photos. It is the digital version of the book Jon uses for his castings. The pictures there will be renewed at the same time he changes them in the paper version. Lisa is the genius who has helped us with this. You know Jon turned 23 last May 19th. We are right into the most beautiful month of the year and our calendar reminds you that it is the moment to leave your birthday wishes for Jon, who will turn 23 next May 19th. Do not wait till the last moment as his chances to be online are very rare lately due to his busy agenda and you know how he loves reading what you leave for him! Lisa once again has plasmated our wishes for April month is this wonderful creation:  Jon returned to Madrid last week and we could see him in Almodovar´s aniversary party surrounded by his friends. He was also interviewed by an implacable Susana Griso and the comedian Paz Padilla in Spanish TV show Espejo Público, where he proved neither cameras nor stereotypes intimidate him in the least. Watch both events in video section   We have added a banner in MORE section to support boykot against Beijing Olympics 2008. Jon finds it outrageous the situation in Tibet and repression carried out by Chinese government against demonstrators and reporters. After two years of ignoring the fact Jon is one of the hottest male models out there, models.com has finally bowed to evidence and included him in position 15th in their list of FIFTY BEST MALE MODELS. We are sure he will continue climbing posts after some juicy new campaigs are revealed. Feel free to leave your vote for Jon. You will have to spend some good time at video section to check all the goodies we have left there: Chanel fashion show in Paris, where Jon was chosen to walk for super exigent German designer Karl Lagerfeld for the first time in his career. March has come and with it a spring mood creation penned by Lisa using one picture from last issue of Spanish Esquire. We have added the first two editorials included in L´Officiel Hommes Special issue with 200 pages devoted to Jon. Just as its creator, Milan Vukmirovic, explains to us: "This is a unique issue of L´Officiel Hommes. For the first time ever, international male fashion press has devoted about 200 pages to an only model, Jon Kortajarena. This rather crazy challenge that we tried, with Jon´s complicity, was imagined to show the extend we can play with male fashion. In the end, the only important thing, what makes a different, is the attitude, the accesories, the hair style. For years, fashion designers, depending on their style, have presented outfits only suitable for ephebos or muscled boys, or simply impossible to wear by everyday man. Thanks to Jon´s collaboration, within the weeks we saw his beard grow, he let us make him wear a blond wig, eye glasses, just to demonstrate that everyone can create their own style, make it part of themselves. This issue proves that, with Jon as the only model. We also wanted to pay hommage to some great photographers who captured a certain aesthetics through their images. Both in cinema and photography, fashion is nothng but a game, an excuse to show your own personality, the character and emotion of each individual." Today it´s the first day of 2008 and we would like to thank all of you people, coming from the five continents, who visit this site in a rate of HUNDREDS PER DAY!, and make us put in it so much love and dedication...so do not miss Jon´s message in the guestbook and we would love to read HAPPY NEW YEAR in your own language, as we are so tolerant with plurality here! We have included several photos from fashion gurú, Tom Ford´s 2008 Menswear Lookbook, taken for the new campaign, starred by Jon exclusively and which will come out early in February, with the collaboration of another fashion genious, Terry Richardson. We have updated JON & FRIENDS section with eight lovely new photos and we are sure you will be able to recognize some of the protagonists. But in this occasion Jon would like to draw your attention on his new puppy TOM. Perhaps some people would think that a top model could or should buy any expensive animals with a nice pedigree and worthy of his owner´s beauty...but then it wouldn´t be our Jon. He and his family will always choose the weekest, needy, sickest and whose breed will not appear in public libraries files. A poor puppy´s stare with few days left was enough to steal Jon´s heart. We are urging you to ADOPT AND SAVE A LIFE...and to be coherent with your decision to the end. Mango celebrated their anual awards with a fashion show which hid an unexpected surprise: Jon closed the show with a tattoo on his chest with the word HE, a clear hint from the prestigious Catalonian firm to announce their forecoming menswear campaign.
